Walk to the end of the drive at Merlin Cottages, turn left and walk just 500 yards to 10,000 acres of Crychan Forest with great walking, riding and cycling trails.  According to BBC Nature’s calendar “It’s a top wildlife spot for watching rare birds and amphibians.”
